I'm hoping to fix an old mid-century standing lamp. The lamp has a double head with one switch that connects the two. At the moment the lamp and both globes work but the light flickers when on. The switch seems faulty and needs to be taped down to stay on, so I'm currently having to turn the light on and off at the powerpoint.

My Arco lamp has recently short circuited & rather than throw it away, I'd love to have it fixed. I believe that this is an issue with the wiring, which made a large pop name & produced some smoke after being plugged into a new wall socket. I'd love someone to come by & replace the wiring of the lamp.
