Hi there, We're a Brisbane-based electronic security company that services residential and small commercial clients across SEQ. We’ve recently started working with a new type of alarm system, and we’ve encountered a small challenge with the wired detectors. Specifically, there isn’t a suitable ceiling mount bracket available for these in Australia. In most cases the detector is mounted on the wall in the corner directly. However there are some instances where it needs to be ceiling mounted. We were able to source a few from the UK for a previous job, but unfortunately, they had some design flaws and aren't ideal for ongoing use. We do have one of these brackets with us and can provide it as a reference/sample. However, the base plate and fixing points will need some minor modifications. We’re currently looking for someone who can scan or accurately measure the part, make the necessary adjustments, and supply a 3D printing file that we can use for our own small-scale printing needs. We do have a basic 3D printer in-house and had a go at designing a solution ourselves from scratch, but with limited success.
