You will be responsible for creating designs, refining them for production, and preparing all technical materials required to send directly to a manufacturer. This is a serious project with potential for ongoing work if the collaboration is successful. Scope of Work / What You’ll Need to Do 1. Design Development Create original clothing designs based on my brand vision and references Provide fashion sketches (hand-drawn or digital) Front, back, and detail views of each garment Assist with silhouette, fit, and construction ideas 2. Technical Design & Production Prep Create detailed technical drawings (flat sketches) Specify stitching, seams, hems, panels, and construction methods Advise on garment feasibility and production efficiency 3. Tech Packs (Manufacturer-Ready) You must be able to produce professional tech packs, including: Detailed measurements and size specifications (size chart / grading if needed) Fabric recommendations (type, weight, composition) Trims and hardware details (zippers, buttons, labels, etc.) Stitch types and construction notes Colourways (Pantone or similar references) Artwork placement and sizing (if applicable) 4. Fabric & Material Guidance Suggest suitable fabrics and trims for the designs Advise on durability, cost considerations, and seasonality Ensure materials align with manufacturing standards 5. Manufacturer Communication Support (Optional but Preferred) Ensure all files are clear and professional for manufacturers Ability to answer manufacturer questions or revise tech packs if needed
