I’m looking for a reliable, fashion-interested person in Melbourne — to help with receiving (at their home), checking and forwarding fashion related items (only) parcels at post office to international address. This would start as a one-off but ideally I make a friend out of the experience and become a long-term arrangement. :) What the task involves: • Receive parcels at your home and be available to sign for deliveries. Note: DHL will not leave parcels unless someone can sign for it , so ideal Candidate would be based from home. Orders can arrive from multiple warehouses and can come in split shipments, so flexibility and monitoring tracking is important. • Once received: Check fashion items carefully against the invoice provided. I need someone who understands clothing, fabrics, and can spot issues. Issues can be : wrong sizing shipped, tears, stains, wrong style to what is listed on invoice. Candidate must handle items with care and send clear photos/videos confirming condition. • Support returns if needed — rarely an item may be incorrect or damaged. I will arrange the retailer home collection, and you only need to hand the parcel to the courier. • Post items to UK via Australia Post. All postage is covered separately (PayPal), and guidance on packaging will be provided. Ideally you live near a post office and can send parcels within a few days. • Keep communication clear , especially when receiving split orders. Ideal Tasker: • Based near South Yarra / Chapel St area (preferred but not required) • Home often / works from home • Interested in fashion and confident checking items • Trustworthy, careful and organised • Flexible with delivery times • Bonus: Access to a printer for shipping return labels Payment: Fee per completed trip to the post office, covering receiving, checking, confirming, packaging and shipping.
