Find a furniture refinishing professional in Brisbane

Hi I’m looking for someone who can finish off the paint job above my stairs (I don’t have the appropriate ladder to get up high enough and have a fainting condition) Also looking for someone to sand back and my stairs to the natural wood and then finish them with the natural colour so no paint but with a more matte finish that’s easy to clean. (Also the hand rail to match) Wall paint provided. I also have basic rollers,brushes and trays if required. Not sure what it is likely to cost so put in a random number and will let people make offers accordingly.

Sand timber back to clean timber and apply 3 coats of Matt varnish. Facade is around 8 x 2.5m including the doors/windows. Location is on commercial street so sanding would need to be done out of hours ie early morning or late night Optional extras to be charged separately 1) repaint ceiling in same area 2) repaint window frames. Please indicate in your quote if you’d like to include the other items

Paint is peeling from kitchen door fronts, otherwise the cabinets are structurally sound, they just need sanding and repainting. I am looking to have all cupboard doors, cover panels and drawer fronts sanded, primed and painted. Its a small kitchen, low-set house.

Large dining table to be sanded and refinished

Four wood chairs and one three-seater sofa that needs sanding, old staples removed, some minor repairs and varnishing. They will need a few new pieces of plywood (for support) added to the seat bases to replace the original webbing I removed. I have removed the springs from the seat backs, which need to be replaced with wood doweling. I am happy to consider any alternatives to make the pieces easier to restore. I have some additional images of the look/feel/finish I’m going for if it helps. I can buy any additional materials you need to do the repairs or pay for them directly if it’s easier. You’ll need to provide any power tools, etc., required to refinish the pieces. I’ve also included some photos to indicate what they currently look like. Generally, staples need removing, new pieces of wood need to be added around the inside edges of the seat bases (likely), all-over sanding is required, and some minor repairs are needed. Four chairs and one three-seater mid-century sofa that need sanding, some minor repairs, general tidying up and oil finishing/sealing. They will need a few new pieces of wood (for support) around the inside of the seat bases and new strapping added (see examples in the images). I will buy all the materials, but you will need to provide any power tools, etc., required to refinish the pieces. Wood dowelings also need to be added to the seat-back of the three-seater for support, which I will purchase. They will all need to be sealed and finished with oil (supplied). I need 2 small bedside tables refurbished. Top timber needs to be re-stained and re-sealed (perhaps with Epoxy resin). Legs need to be re-painted or electroplated - Due date: Flexible

Front veranda requires sanding and refinishing with a decking oil. Size is 2.1m x 5m hardwood. Currently finished in a polyurethane coating that is starting to breakdown on the outer edge boards (see photos). The rest of the verandah is in good condition. Requires full sand to remove this finish and then replaced with an appropriate decking finish. I require this work to be completed by the first week of Feb 2023. However, happy if it can be slotted in sooner. - Due date: Before Wednesday, 1 February 2023
