Need island bench made. Approx 1m wide x 90 high x 60-70 deep. Black cabinets and white marble bench (laminate look okay). Prefer drawers and cupboard one side and seating space other side. Remove existing bifold laundry doors and replace with something more suitable

I have 2 boys staying in a 7-8m2 bedroom and need wooden bunk beds built to fit the space. I have custom mattresses 172cm long, 80cm wide at head and 70cm wide at foot. (See diagram attached) Looking to have someone build a set of wooden bunks to fit the space and those mattresses. The measured space is 173cm long in the room. Will need to remove a bench top and part of book case to free the space (see photos) as part of it. The bunk is to sit where the bench top is in the photo. The bunk beds should be wooden with a ladder to top bunk, with a safety rail (one side only) on top bunk. It should have 25cm clearance under bottom bunk for storage for their school bags, basketballs and shoes. Both boys to have enough clearance in their beds to sit up. If someone can do a nice job it will free up space for the boys and give them a bed they are happy and proud of. We live in a 43m2 apartment so space is limited. Would likely ask you about further work including additional small wardrobe and raised shelves above couch area etc to extend our storage options but today it is about building a bunk bed for the kids in a confined space. Cabinetry adjustment above gas stove – make compliant I need a cabinetmaker/handyman to modify the existing overhead cabinetry above a freestanding gas stove in a Richmond apartment. The current cupboard/extraction fan enclosure sits too low and protrudes over the cooktop. I need the cabinetry altered so there is sufficient clearance above the gas cooktop and the area can meet the applicable installation/compliance requirements. Work would likely involve: * Cutting back, shortening or reconfiguring the cupboard directly above the stove. * Adjusting/removing the lower section that currently protrudes over the cooktop. * Making good the cabinetry after alteration so it looks neat and finished. * Coordinating the finished dimensions with the required clearance for the gas cooktop/rangehood. Cabinet: any combustible cabinet surface directly above the gas cooktop should ideally be 650 mm or more above the top of the gas trivet. Looking for a qualified & reputable cabinet maker who has precision in fine finishing, to come in & provide storage solutions similar to the ones in the picture. (buffet bottom & cabinets, afixed to the wall, touching the ceiling & cut into the skirting). Propose to start with 1 set first, there is a potential for other work as we are requiring alot of storage within an apartment. We have thought about the option of purchasing ikea cabinets which is in the picture but prefer to have someone provide a quote & storage solutions. Kitchen Island Timber Slat Modification (Cabinet Maker/Carpenter) Hi, I’m looking for an experienced cabinet maker or carpenter to modify the decorative timber slatted surround on my kitchen island. The current curved front projects too far, preventing chairs from tucking underneath comfortably and reducing legroom. It also makes it more difficult to clean inside the open shelf. I’d like the decorative slatted surround to be modified so the front is flat or has a much gentler curve, while keeping the stone benchtop and existing internal support structure unchanged. If possible, I’d like to reuse the existing timber from any slats or curved rail that are removed so the finished result matches the existing timber as closely as possible.

Cut out a space for a dishwasher under bench in an existing kitchen cabinet. Still need to maintain the appearance of the kitchen. I want to be able to have the remaining cupboard space under the sink as well so a small door or a blank can be installed between the edge of the dishwasher and the next door.
