I have a 2013 Volkswagen Golf Convertible. Intermittently vehicle does not go into first gear from a stand still. 'D' drive flashes on dash. Needs to turn off and restart car. again. Issue goes away but comes back another time. Can happen within 30 minutes of driving. VW dealer carried out diagnosis, road tested vehicle and found fault related to the clutch 1 tolerance limit reached. It is required to strip and inspect the gearbox and clutch and inspect, it may require a clutch replacement. Need a quote for the above work, by a VW mechanic. - Due date: Flexible

I have a golf, I believe the starter motor has gone, but I’m unsure what else needs fixing. I would tow it to a mechanic but it’s in an basement car park & we’re unable to get a tow truck. Further work may be required depending on what needs fixing on the vehicle.

I need a reverse camera connected in my Volkswagen caddy van. I tried to complete this on my own, the screen is in place in the front and the camera is fitted to the rear of the van with the wires running through however I was unable to connect the camera to the reverse lights as it was a little bit out of my league. The job is essentially half done and should be very easy to complete. Must be a registered electrician with your own tools
