Hi Ford Transit 2005, It stopped while driving, smoke observed from bonnet with grinding sound. Engine coolant and oil level were fine no overheating. Now on trying to crank a fuse on main supply at inlet to fuse box blows. Possible short circuit. If can you find the source of short circuiting and fix the issue please.

I sometimes get CANBUS errors saying the car has lost communication with the ABS. Then I get "Engine Service Required", the speedo dies and I get the message "Transmission functionality limited". I suspect a grounding or harness issue as the ABS ECU has been replaced in the past. I happens more in cold or wet weather it seems.
