My 2001 Toyota Echo has a damaged bonnet (dent on one side - mechanism etc not affected) and it's looking more economical to just replace it rather than repair. From my research you should be able to source a replacement for around $100-$150 at a wreckers and I can point you towards one that I believe has a bonnet in stock, otherwise there is many on Ebay. I would do it myself but I don't think I have the space in my car to take it home nor the know how or tools to swap them over. If you could take and dispose of the damaged one that would be a bonus. Bonnet needs to be in working order upon task completion, i.e it closes and locks properly and windscreen washer nozzles all work. Bonnet must also match car colour (grey) I'm happy to drive the car to you on the weekend or on a weeknight so that you can fit it on the car, otherwise happy for you to come to me. If it could be done by the end of this weekend (Sunday 30th Jan) that would be fantastic.

Hi, I'm looking for a good mechanic to help me in addressing a few issues with my 2013 Audi A3. 1. EPC light, this starts every time I start the engine after 60 seconds or so, but only if I accelerate and start moving quickly, it doesn't do it if the engine is warmed up, i.e. i often pull over and restart the car after a few mins and the EPC light won't come on and the car is at full power again. This issue started after I lent my car out one weekend and I believe it was pushed to its limits, may be throttle related etc. 2. my car has a leak with water coming down from near the top light cluster. The car does have a sunroof but we don't believe that is the cause of the leak as water also gets into the footwell and near the hand rails (?) on both sides at the top of the car. 3. Issue 2 has now caused issue 3 and because of the water dripping into the centre MMI console now the whole centre console including the screen auto going up on start up is no longer working, all those controls aren't functioning. This has just happened since yesterday, tried a few times hoping it would dry out and nothing unfortunately. Apparently the console can be removed and corrosion removed but long term need the leak issue to be addressed to stop it re-occuring. Would ideally like someone to come to me, but can also come to you and stay in the area for a few hours whilst you tinker with it. Can be flexible on time and date and appreciate it may take a few sessions to fix, can do hourly price initially to scope the problem and then prefer fixed quote if possible. - Due date: Flexible
