What does a car service include?

Oil and oil filter change
An oil and oil filter change will help your car run smoothly and increase fuel efficiency. It’s one of the most important parts of a service and should be included in both minor and major services. Your mechanic will find the oil drain plug, loosen and unscrew it, and carefully allow the old oil to drain into a pan. Then they’ll replace and tighten the plug before removing and replacing the filter. Finally, they’ll fill up with fresh oil up to the “full” mark on the dipstick.
Car minor service

Car major service
A major service includes all the basic services described above, but will also include an inspection of an additional 15-30 car components to ensure that your vehicle is in the best condition possible. These components can include wheel bearings, shock absorbers, and the air conditioning system. Any parts that need extra work or replacement, such as car batteries or windscreens, will be billed as extra.

I have a Suzuki Vitara 1991 (also known as sidekick) softop that I love. I've wanted to explore swapping the engine for a compatible newer and quieter engine for a long time. However Im pretty sure that I recently cracked the head gasket and so now the situation has become more of a need than a want. I've read online that the Suzuki belino engine is a good option for the Vitara but I'm open to a rebuild of the engine or an engine swap. I will need to take someones advice as to my best options but I'm super keen to fix my baby up so she can enjoy the warm weather with me again! The regular mechanic shops I've approached are not interested and just tell me it's not worth the money. It's worth it to me. So I need someone that knows what they are doing and also cares about what they are doing. I know you are out there somewhere! I was quoted $2000 to rebuild the engine a year ago but I have lost the detail of the person who I spoke to. I don't know what the cost will be so my offer is an estimate.
