We are using MYOB AccountRight (offline) for our small business . Can you give me a crash course + Q&A to how to best utilise MYOB for our business. You should be familiar with MYOB for small businesses and know the common/best practices that other businesses use. About us: We sell machinery/equipment, consumables used by the machinery, service/maintenance of the machinery. Key areas in order of priority: Payroll ○ Set up single touch pay roll via MYOB/other program. As we are using MYOB offline, we understand this feature is not available to us, but we may upgrade in the future, so learning about this now may be relevant. ○ Set up different type of leaves & have recorded in payslip. Specifically, we want to get the personal leave and annual leave accrual up and running, where each employees' balance is shown on the payslip. - 3) Inventory ○ We have a long item list. ○ What are some ways to do inventory management (MYOB, Excel, MYOB Add-on, or other) - 4) Analysis: ○ What are the common/powerful tools for financial reporting in MYOB? Business Insights/Reports? ○ Monthly/Quarterly reports / excel to generate to assess financial health. - 5) Other ○ Book Keeping: What are some book keeping best/efficient practices ○ Purchases: Overview, best/efficient practices. - 6) As MYOB has officially stopped supporting AccountRight offline, we will need to eventually transition to another accounting software. We would appreciate any recommendations, and reason(s) why it is suitable for us. Our preference is to purchase perpetual licence software, and that it can easily be exported/converted into a format for accounts to be able to review. Time Billing? I’m having trouble with Meta business suite I’m currently logged into the suite (a sports community page) which has Facebook and Instagram accounts I’m managing this page via access thru my personal Facebook account I have the login information for the Instagram account I don’t even know which email address is linked to the Facebook account which is linked to meta What I’m trying to do Find out what email address is the community Facebook page using De link the Facebook and Instagram page, update them as in add more followers and friends (so they can be tagged in future posts) Re link the Facebook and Instagram account to Meta suite Also even though I have Instagram account login details, I can’t seem to add the account to my phone app as an account This makes editing difficult I’d just wanna be able to access the Facebook and Instagram accounts separately and not thru the meta suite app Hope this makes sense
