Scope of Works 1. Site Preparation Excavate and prepare ground from the street front to the existing carport slab (~15m length). Remove grass/topsoil to required depth for concrete base. Compact sub-base to ensure a stable and level foundation. 2. Concrete Ribbon Driveway Construction Form up and pour two parallel concrete strips (“ribbons”) running from the street to the carport. Each strip to be 800mm wide, separated by a central grass strip of 1,000mm. Total width of driveway = approx. 2.6m. Length = approx. 15m. Thickness: 100mm reinforced concrete (minimum SL72 mesh). Finish: broom or stipple non-slip finish, suitable for vehicle traffic. 3. Apron & Integration with Road Provide a small apron/slab at the road entry (~1m deep full width of 2.6m) for durability and ease of vehicle entry. Ensure clean transition from council crossover to new driveway ribbons. 4. Integration with Carport Slab Driveway strips to align flush with the existing carport slab. Smooth finish to allow seamless transition for vehicles. 5. Cleanup & Waste Removal Remove all construction waste, soil, and debris from site. Leave site clean and tidy on completion. Notes & Quality Standards Concrete to be a minimum of 25 MPa strength with reinforcement mesh. Ensure proper drainage away from the house and towards the street. All work to comply with relevant QLD building and council standards. Any council approvals (if required for crossover) to be clarified prior to works.
