Hi, I’m looking for someone experienced with outdoor pergolas, waterproofing, drainage, or building leaks to help me fix a water issue. A handyman recently built an outdoor pergola for me. Since then, every time it rains, a lot of water comes into the garage floor area. I’m not sure whether something has not been sealed properly, whether there is a leak, or whether the structure/drainage is causing water to flow into the garage. The handyman said that water can flow in, but I would like someone to properly inspect the problem and find a permanent solution. We have already tried using cement and sealing tape to block some areas, but water is still coming inside when it rains. So I’m not sure if this is a sealing issue, drainage issue, or a structural problem with the pergola or surrounding area. I’m looking for someone who can come and assess the situation, identify where the water is coming from, and fix the problem properly. Please contact me if you have experience with this type of issue. Have a pergola about 12m long. Need 3 - 4 batten lights connected to middle pergola beam. Also need 1 or 2 flood lights connected against pergola to face yard. Have an existing hard wire with some length about 5 metres as a start. May also need to divert a plug point to BBq area counter or against screening post if its possible and meets regulations. Needed by Monday 22nd or latest latest 23rd Tuesday. Thanks.
