Toyota RegisAce Intermittent remote operation When van first came in was able to register an additional aftermarket remote to the keyless entry module via diagnostic procedure Van left with both original & Aftermarket remotes operating When van came back remotes were not working. Tested replacing the receiver for door control but could not communicate with the new module Suspect issue to be to do with wiring Check earth in white wire which goes directly into door receiver module - it has good grounding. Found white harness plug near door control module had signs of water ingress Plug was difficult to pull apart and once apart found signs of water that had been sitting in bottom part of plug Bottom 4 pins were green with corrosion Tried to clean these pins up and clean with iso When re connecting plugs no response from remotes Suspect issue to be issue with writing near this white harness plug

I changed the lock of the door myself and messed up the actuator, now it locks everything but the drivers door. Also want to install a device for a remote control for the doors, I already have it. The car is a Nissan Navara D22 2013

Need to install central locking system in my car

I just purchased a 2000 Holden Rodeo for work. Great car but the locks on the doors don't work properly. So, I'm wanting to take them out and convert to a remote central locking system (if possible)

MG6 Turbo 2016 batery is draining overnight within 8hrs, central locking system doesnt work and radio turn on by itself. These two are my possible cause of the drain because ever since it happened batery has been draining. But I am no auto electrician so I am not sure. I have a '99 Alfa Romeo Spider which came with factory central locking, alarm, and remote. During it's life someone removed the alarm system so now it's just simply central locking which works with the door key. I bought a remote and receiver kit and need someone to do the install so that my central locking can be controlled by remote. I have the full vehicle workshop manual and of course the instructions for the kit itself. From what I've read online it's a fairly straightforward install by accessing the fuse box under the dash (which is easily accessible). I would also like the remote boot release option wired in - the remote has a button for this. Currently the car has a boot release button located in the glovebox so you would need to wire into that feature and maybe also change it to a constant power source as it's currently only active when the key is in the ignition barrel (security feature of kind but it makes no sense!). Qualified auto electrican needed to look at problems on a Kia Grand Carnival VQ 2013. If you are nearby can bring the car to you if that saves money. 1. Front blower has suddenly stopped working. This is the priority. I think the fuses are ok but need someone to confirm. It may be the blower motor. 2.Central locking on one door unreliable. It attempts to trigger sometimes but "bounces" back.
