Looking for a videographer ASAP to meet in the CBD and film a street magic content shoot for a professional magician and mentalist. Our original videographer has unfortunately called in sick, so we’re looking for someone who can jump in at short notice and capture street magic performances, audience reactions, and natural interactions with members of the public. The shoot will involve following the performer while they perform magic, so you’ll need to be comfortable filming handheld and capturing spontaneous moments in a fast-moving environment. You must have: * High-quality professional camera equipment * Professional audio equipment suitable for capturing clear dialogue and audience reactions * A reliable wireless microphone setup * Experience filming people, events, or social media content * Confidence shooting handheld/run-and-gun style footage * An eye for genuine audience reactions and engaging moments * Spare batteries, memory cards, and any essential backup equipment The main priority is capturing high-quality video and clean, usable audio. Editing can be discussed separately if that’s something you also offer. Please send through examples of your previous work, details of the camera and audio equipment you use, and confirm your availability. You must be available to meet in the CBD ASAP. This is a last-minute booking, so someone who can respond quickly and meet in the CBD as soon as possible would be ideal.

We’ll have someone teaching and guiding us through the game, so there should be plenty of genuine reactions, funny moments and interactions to capture. What we’re looking for: • Mainly portrait footage for social media content • Some landscape footage would also be awesome so we can keep and use it for future content • A mixture of cinematic B roll and natural/candid moments • Photos throughout the night would also be great • Dice rolls, miniatures, character sheets and close up shots • Genuine reactions, funny moments and conversations • The Dungeon Master teaching and guiding us • Wide shots showing the whole table, group and atmosphere • Natural footage without interrupting the game too much The content may be used for: • Instagram • Facebook • YouTube • YouTube Shorts • TikTok • Paid social media advertising We’re not looking to continuously record the entire 3 to 4 hour game. We mainly want interesting moments captured naturally throughout the night. We would like all usable video footage/B roll and photos captured on the night sent to us, so we can edit, upload and reuse the footage for our socials and future content.
