Looking for a friendly, reliable person to help host a small private lunch gathering at my home in Newtown. It's a potluck-style event for around 8–10 guests. I'll be providing two lasagnas (vegetarian and meat), and guests are bringing sides, salads and desserts to share. I'd love some help with: Greeting guests as they arrive Setting up food as it comes in and helping lay it out nicely Serving and topping up drinks (wine, soft drinks, tea/coffee) Keeping plates and glasses cleared through the afternoon General tidying as we go, and a final clean-up of kitchen/serving areas at the end This is a relaxed, warm gathering rather than a formal event, so a personable, easygoing manner matters more than formal waitstaff experience- though hospitality experience is a plus. Wedding on the 7th November. We don’t have any wait staff and would love some help around dinner/dessert time such as clearing up tables, washing dishes and just having waitstaff around to relieve some stress ideally from 6pm-9pm.
