Council permission has been received to prune a tree in the rear courtyard of my home. 1 x Acer sp. Prune branches no greater than 50mm diameter to provide a radial clearance of 1 metre from power lines. Prune branches no greater than 50mm diameter to provide a maximum 2 metre building clearance. The total amount of foliage to be removed must not exceed 10% of the crown volume. All works must be undertaken by a qualified arborist with a minimum AQF Level 3 in Arboriculture in accordance with Australian Standard AS4373-2007 Pruning of Amenity Trees and WorkCover Code of Practice ‘Amenity Tree Industry’, 1998. 4. All works in the vicinity of overhead power lines must be undertaken by a qualified arborist with a current Powerline Awareness Certificate.
