Leather Strap Finishing For Timber Bow Ties. I’m looking for a skilled sewer to help finish the neck straps. The task involves sewing leather straps together at the back of the bow tie- clean, strong stitching is essential for both durability and appearance. Fastening hardware will be supplied. To begin with it will be a trial task and continual work for the right person. $50 is the initial payment for the first few bow ties. Previously each bow tie took around 15minutes and have paid $8.50 per unit based on that and am open to discussion on that. Batches of 50+ is what I’ll be looking at in the future.
