What do swimming lessons include?
Swimming lessons include all the tasks necessary for your swimming instructor to teach you, your children, and even your babies to swim safely and with confidence. These are private swimming lessons where your hired instructor can introduce first-timer swimmers of any age to water in a safe manner and ensure that the class begins on a positive note.
They can give lessons in the shallow end of a pool to help beginners find their buoyancy, develop their confidence and get them accustomed to staying in the water. After they develop these skills, they can learn the basics. These can include proper breathing, proper arm strokes and kicking. Swimming instructors can adjust to a student’s level, from absolute beginners to more advanced swimmers.
Baby swimming lessons
Yes, swimming instructors can teach your baby to swim! Note that your baby must be at least 6 months old to take swimming lessons. Babies at this age tolerate colder water better and have better motor skills. Your swimming instructor can teach your baby alone, but they may ask for at least one parent to take part.
The presence of mum or dad is essential to make sure your baby feels safe and comfortable during the lesson. The swim instructor can help your baby learn to love and enjoy the water, teach them how to float and gradually teach them how to kick and move about in the water.
