Replace 2 smoke detectors

I require the following checks for my tenant (under Victorian legislation): Electrical safety check of all electrical installations, appliances and fittings (and inspection report) A check of the gas line and all supplied gas appliances for faults, Carbon monoxide leaks and negative pressure test (and inspection report) Smoke alarm testing (and inspection report)

I bought a Nest Protect (google) smoke alarm. It says that it needs to be connected to 240 V AC wires (provided). It says it needs to be installed by an electrician. The previous smoke alarm is battery, so there is no existing set up for a wired smoke alarm.

Two new hardwire smoke alarms supplied and fitted replacing out of date ones and new sensor light to be supplied and installed in front of my house teeing into existing wiring

Smoke alarm safety inspection required and must be conducted by qualified electrician who can provide compliance certificate as per new Victorian legislation. Can be done anytime this week or next.
