Hire a professional portrait photographer in Canberra

I’m a photographer involved in a documentary portraiture project. I’m looking for a photographic assistant for on-location series of portraits in Canberra. We’ll be working with people in public, urging them to be part of a community portraiture project. The series, called Australia’s Big Days, documents members of the public who have their portraits done while holding handwritten messages about nationally significant events. In this case, the project is centred on the theme of Australia Day. It will take place in the morning of 25 or 26 Jan. You’ll be working with me, the photographer, as a team of two. You’ll be responsible for connecting with members of the public and talking to them about getting involved in the portrait series. You will also manage the process of getting the subjects’ written consent for the publication or exhibition of the images. The duration of the work depends on how things go on the day but, as an indicator, the photographic session is expected to take a couple of hours. For a university photography assignment, I need someone to pose for simple portrait photos outside the National Library of Australia late one afternoon (between maybe 3pm-5pm). It's not about how you look - I just need you to be willing to stand still while I test out different lenses and distances. Won't take more than 20 minutes, probably more like 10 minutes.
