I’m looking for a handyman/carpenter to modify and finish several existing Montague timber planter boxes to give them a more finished, traditional appearance. Scope of works * Install a vertical timber dressing piece to each external corner of each planter box to conceal/dress the existing corners. * Install a horizontal timber capping/dressing board around the entire top perimeter of each box to create a neat finished edge. * All new timber is to be untreated timber, as the boxes will be used for growing vegetables. * Timber should be appropriately sized and neatly mitred/joined to create a high-quality finished appearance. * Prepare the exterior surfaces as required. * Prime and paint the entire exterior white, including the new corner pieces and top capping, to achieve a clean, consistent finish. * The finished appearance should be similar to a traditional white timber raised garden bed rather than a rustic crate. The planter boxes are already assembled. This job is primarily carpentry/dressing and painting, not construction of new boxes. I can provide photos of the existing boxes and the style I’m trying to achieve. Please quote for labour and materials and advise availability.

I have 4 vegetable planter boxes that need assembling. They range from 3.2 m down to 1.6 m. Each one may take around 45 minutes. Give or take.

I need 2 brick planter boxes built. You will need to build the footings. Same style planters as the ones in the photos. I will provide the bricks and pavers for capping. You will need to cut the pavers to correct size as well as any bricks. Size of planters is to be approximately 5-8 bricks high, 2- 3 bricks deep and 10 bricks long.

Would like a brick wall erected with letterbox (as per pictures) plus closing of this planter box. Letter box wall to be same width as planter box and about 3 bricks high. Letterbox post to be 500x500x900 (I will provide the insert) Planter box to be fixed and extended and closed of. Will be very low. I can also provide the concrete for footings if need be.
