Find a professional photographer in Marrickville South

Date: Saturday 31 October 2026 Venue: Field + Fin, Marrickville Guests: Approximately 70 Party starts: 7:30 pm Proposed coverage: 7:–10/10:30 pm The celebration This is a 50th birthday, themed around the seven deadly sins and a dark, gothic fantasy garden. Guests are encouraged to embrace their desires, step outside their everyday selves and come in character. The photographs should capture the world we’ve created and the people bringing it to life: theatrical, mischievous, beautiful and a little chaotic. Photography style I’m looking for a combination of atmospheric portraits and candid photos. - Preserve the evening’s dark atmosphere and lighting while capturing faces, costumes and makeup clearly. - Create some dramatic individual and small-group portraits, with gentle direction to help guests express their characters. - Capture spontaneous laughter, affection, surprising interactions and playful moments. - Include wide shots that show the setting, alongside close-ups of costumes, accessories and decorations. **Priority photographs** - The venue, decorations, welcome sign and themed details before guests arrive. - My costume and portraits before the party gets busy. - Guests arriving and their first reactions. - Individual and small-group costume portraits, including guests representing the seven sins. - The welcome speech, games, any performances and birthday moments. - The energy of the party as the evening unfolds. Please aim to include every guest somewhere in the gallery. Some guests will have secret missions, so there may be unusual interactions worth capturing discreetly! Would like to see any examples of your work, especially in low light.
