I'm looking for someone (2 people) to install this pergola: https://newwaveliving.com.au/collections/manual-louved-pergolas/products/duracraft Existing 400mmx400mm pavers will need to be lifted to allow concrete to be poured underneath to accomodate four posts of pergola so that they can be safely secured. Pavers then need to be refitted and levelled before pergola is fitted. Around 4 hours work each for 2 people I'm led to believe, although probabaly 2 visits required to allow concrete time to set before posts could be attached. Budget is for labour only, to be split between 2. As per the successful Aitasker's advice, we can supply the additional materials or we can refund upfront cost of materials to the successful Airtasker based on their (Bunnings) receipt.

Hi there, I’m looking for a reliable handyman or carpenter to complete some pergola repairs and install new shadecloth. I’m hoping to find someone who pays attention to detail and can complete the job once started. Photos are attached for reference. What’s needed: - In one section (this part of the pergola is otherwise complete and solid): • Saw the already installed beam ends down flat. They are slightly uneven now. • Paint the sawn off end of beams. - In another section: • Replace 2.5 metre wood that attaches to the fascia (water-damaged) and paint it. There is a temporary fix at the moment but the wood underneath is water damaged from leaky gutter ( fixed ) • Fit new or use existing brackets as needed • Reattach beams (two) with brackets. Another 3 beams would need to be unscrewed and then placed back on to replace. • Check the remaining fascia wood along that side of the house and advise if any is in need of replacement. • Install shadecloth neatly and tension correctly once repairs are done. I’ll purchase the wood, shadecloth, paint, and any other materials you require — just let me know what’s needed when you start. I’d like to have this finished within the next two weeks before the hot weather sets in. Access: Easy driveway access through to the back yard and good working space available

We plan to get a large pergola, (well, in fact, three connected pergola areas), in our backyard. The structure would need to be attached to the house, either through a flyover system or by attaching to the fascia. It is a flat skillion roof sloping upwards (away from the house) so gutters and drainage are an issue. We have found a carpenter, but they require drawings showing exactly how this would work, ( in terms of the existing roof/rafters/beams etc.) to work from. I need an architect/draft person/builder who can do this so the carpenter knows exactly what to do. There are a couple of ways it could be achieved and need someone to look at the house to work out the best way to complete this. I have included a few pictures. The last is of the existing backyard. Three are computer generated concept drawings giving a rough indication of what it would look like (we have made some changes since then, but it gives you an approximate idea). The first is a hand drawn plan showing dimensions. I do have full house plans, and plans suitable for the council(deed to comply) available. BTW , as you can see from the photo of the home as it is, the existing goal in the center would be removed as part of the project. Someone with a builder’s license, I.e. A registered builder,prepared to submit for council building approval, would be ideal.
