I have a persisting leaking pergola where it meets the roof/gutter. Someone has previously been up on the roof to add some kind of filler/protection but it still leaks across a 1-2 meter section so need some more reinforcements.

I’m reaching out to request an urgent inspection of the pergola. There are ongoing issues with the roof structure, including visible leaks and concerns about the quality of the installation. During strong winds, the structure appears unstable, it feels as though it could lift off, which raises serious safety concerns. I’d like someone to assess the framing and roofing sheets to determine whether they need to be corrected, reinforced, or fully replaced. Please let me know your earliest availability to inspect and provide a recommendation and quote for the necessary works.

Wanting to have either a wooden or metal frame small pergola coming off the house. Measuring 4m in width and spanning out just 2m, so no need for supporting poles. To be covered with a tinted sheet.

Pergola does not hold water during heavy rain. See attached photos and video. Unable to get out the side door with getting drenched. Just need it filling. Nothing fancy.

1) replace rotted support pergola rail attached to house (I Have removed 2 sheet support boards to loosen vertical support boards nailed to the support rail) 2) install new support rail, secure other pergola boards, and rescrew sheet support boards 3) remove the trim and faulty white weathboard planks associated with the house side gables. 4) install new concrete weatherboard sheeting to cover the exposed siding. Sheeting is flat 3.0 x 1.2 m Bunnings sheets that appear as vertical planking. 5) Existing house gable is ~ 9.0 width and 1.6 m tall. Estimate 2x3 m sheets (with 2m sheet) can fill the gable. Sheeting to be installed vertically, and cut to fit under the sloping gable. 6) then reattach gable trim to the installed weatherboard sheeting. Pergola rot caused by water ingress thru flashing gaps associated with this older white, slanted weatherboard planking. Intent is to have only new flat gable sheeting, that new pergola flashing can handle. No slanted boards, or gap edges. Potentially better to remove rotted pergola support, then the entire older white pergola planking, install the new weatherboard sheets, then install the pergola support rail- since that is also directly attached to the house containing the new sheeting. Sheeting and timber materials to be provided. You will need to supply fixings, and be able to cut weatherboard cladding to the sloping gable in strips.

Have 2 areas requiring work on shade cloth, one area 1.8m x 2.2m just requires some refixing, edges of shade cloth, easy access. Area 2 is 1.8m x 4.1m requires old shade cloth to be removed and new shade cloth installed, easy access, pergola frame is same height as house facia, maximum height just over 2 metres, work can be completed ground level using ladders and plank. Requiring someone or possibly more than a one person effort to move four heavy boxes from the garage to the rear and build an aluminium pergola with retractable manual louvre roof. Instructions all included within the boxes however I feel this is a good 3/4/5 hour task dependant on 1 or 2 person and their skills and toolset. Must be carefully bolted down and drilled into honed concrete !! Each post has four holes to be drilled (16 in total to hold it down) Requires the correct tools/ drill pieces to get through the concrete…. This isn’t a hope and gamble task - I require someone who is more than capable and can do the appropriate concrete tool drilling without damaging the concrete! 3m x 4m Pergola with 2.5m height

We require structural sign off to add a non-permeable roof to our pergola. We are in City of Bayswater which has different rules to our neighbouring council regarding patios. We have built a pergola with a shade cloth. Because it lets water through, it's not classed as a patio and therefore fits within the current Pergola guidelines for Bayswater that do not require council approval. We would now like to add corrugated plastic roofing to protect from rain in the winter. This would make it a patio and require structural sign off to be able to get council approval. If we lived 1km to the West, we wouldn't require this sign off as Stirling allows patios with a roof under a certain size to be built without council sign off.
