📝 Description Looking for an experienced handyman / carpenter / landscaper to build a small freestanding pergola with simple paver base in my backyard corner (see attached photo). This is a budget DIY-style project, not a high-end custom build. ⸻ 📐 Scope of Work 1. Site preparation • Level and compact existing dirt area (approx. corner section shown in photo) • Minor soil removal and leveling required 2. Pergola structure (DIY kit style) • Install a simple 4-post pergola frame (timber or steel brackets like Toja Grid style) • Approx size: 3m x 3m (flexible based on recommendation) • Ensure structure is: • Level • Securely anchored (into ground or concrete footings) • Suitable for Melbourne weather 3. Base / flooring • Install paver base (or similar simple flooring) under pergola • Includes: • Base preparation (material on site as per picture an requires compaction only) • Laying pavers evenly 4. Aluminium pergola with a slight curve needs to be covered with Polycarbonate sheets, and guttering to be fitted at both ends. Equipment will all be supplied. Labour only. Help will be provided. Have some other small jobs to be done.

Replace or fix two LED Lights in pergola area

Hi! I have an aluminium pergola that’s slightly drooping in the middle because one of the extra support posts wasn’t installed initially. This is causing water to collect in the gutter above. I already have the extra powder-coated post cut to the correct measurement, along with the deck anchor. I just need someone experienced to: • Install the extra post in the middle section, and • Check that the gutter drains properly afterward (no water pooling). Should be a quick job for someone handy with pergola or deck work. Thanks!
