Hi, I am looking for a kind, playful, experienced person to help me on occasional Monday and Tuesday mornings with babysitting and school drop off. My just-turned 7yo is a sensitive, funny, silly child whose special interest is robots and who has some sensory issues. He will be shy at first but friendly and loving once he gets to know the right person. Specifically, I need someone to stay with him in our home and drop him off to school. I work casually, at this stage, and I start work at 7:30am. He starts school at the local primary school (5 minutes drive, 20 mnutes walk) at 8:15am. We have a simple routine we like to follow, which helps him with his school anxiety. I am actively looking for full time work, so this has the potential to become weekly work, and I may need a babysitter in the future outside of these times. I may also need help with some light housework and food prep. We'd love you to become a valuable part of our home. A Working With Children and National Police check are essential, as is someone who uses compassionate, consistent boundaries not punishments such as time outs. People of all genders, orientations, spiritual practices are welcome as long as you respect that we are a family that belongs to the LGBTIQIA+ community.
