Tyres, tubes and commonly used parts will be provided with Tyre changer available for use on site. Having issues with a 1990 BMW k100 cafe racer after market speedo and need someone to find the fault and repair. I bought it as is (did not build it) and not sure what the issue could be. Details: Model as above, has a bep 3.0 and acewell 2853 speedo already installed. When I got it, the speedo was working, but it had no neutral light (so can't pass RWC). Spent some time checking all the connections, tracing wires etc and found a loose connection after the gear position sensor. Tightened it up and the neutral light came on. Put everything back together and started the bike and the Speedo is doing very odd stuff - the blinkers, high beam and neutral light indicators are ok when idling, but no rpm, speed etc. Speed and rpm do flash on and off briefly, indicator lights flash, fade in and out, or go on / stayoff, and when I ride it, the lights sometimes dim and go all together. Checked all the connections again and couldn’t find anything that looked wrong. Mechanically, the bike is running perfectly so the issue seems related solely to the speedo. Prefer someone that can come to me in Reservoir as the bike is not registered.
