My Honda jazz has been playing up. I have borrowed a friends ToolPro BT500 OBD2, however it’s not picking up any codes or I’m not reading it properly. Would like to work out the problem it’s having to purchase the parts and go from there. I have purchased a new battery as the scan tool was reading my battery at 42% and recommended replacing it. If anyone has a better diagnostic scanner and can help me out I would appreciate it

Looking for an experienced mechanic to diagnose and fix an issue with my 2008 Captiva Diesel. The car starts normally and drives okay with gentle acceleration, but when accelerating harder, it struggles and doesn’t pick up speed properly. After driving for a while, another issue occurs: when I put the car into reverse, it sometimes doesn’t move at all. If I stop the car, turn the engine off, restart it, and select reverse again, it works normally.

Hi everyone, I’m looking for a mobile mechanic who can help me with an issue I’m having with my car. I’ve got a 2009 Ford Fiesta, and whenever it rains, the boot fills with water. The water is also getting onto the rear seatbelts and into the carpet/floor area behind both the driver and passenger seats. I’ve already taken it to an RAC Auto Centre, but unfortunately they weren’t able to find or fix the problem. I’ve done a bit of research myself and watched a few YouTube videos, and apparently this is a fairly common issue with these Ford Fiestas. There seems to be quite a bit of information online about where to look and what needs to be checked. I have a pretty good idea of what needs investigating, but unfortunately I don’t have the tools or experience to pull everything apart and properly fix it myself. So, if there’s a mobile mechanic around Mandurah/Peel who has experience with Ford Fiestas and can help track down and repair the water leak, I’d really appreciate it.
