Find professional metal gate repairs in Melbourne

My external metal gate is no longer aligning properly with the latch. The gate appears to sit too far away from the strike plate/lock, so it won’t close or stay secured. It may have sagged slightly or the hinges/lock position may need adjustment. Looking for someone to realign the gate and ensure it closes and latches securely.

Movement of metal gate and frame means the lock and latching mechanism doesn't line up anymore. Gate has moved up/striker plate has moved down. Need someone to remove the current lock (undo some screws and drill out some rivets) and then reposition and reinstall the lock ~1cm further down. Will need to drill and make new holes in the metal gate. The other option is to move the strike plate and but the I'm not sure there's enough metal in the frame left to rivet the plate back into thr frame.

Our metal (iron?) gate has lowered or expanded slightly and is catching on the stopper. I need it and the one next to it shaved back by a few cm 🙏

Readjust the gate. Some welding work required. Add new latch lock.

Need a brass plaque screwed into a metal gate. There are screw holes on the brass plaque and it is quite heavy.

Take away old cupboard and metal gate. Access via laneway at back of house.

Repair hinge on gate. Top hinge just need a Dimond screw.

We are repainting our metal front fence. Before we prime and paint, we need all gate framing and panel surfaces prepared, metal brushed/sanded back, surface rust removed/sanded off and existing remaining paint and metals surfaces prepared ready for new primer and paint finish. Gate(s) are approx. 1.7M high x 2.3 M wide overall. Someone with time, correct tools, equipment, knowledge and elbow grease required to complete the job.

Our secure metal gate isn’t so secure. An intruder could reach through and turn the knob. Whoops. Would like a well-rated Handyperson/welder to come and resolve the problem, we think by sourcing a small metal plate and welding it beside the lock, but if there’s a better way of doing it that would solve the problem and look better than that solution please speak up! Photos attached show the problem. Looks like steel to me but you’ll know better than I will.

Having concrete poured on 6 January in my courtyard and require a new metal back gate and fence to replace the old wooden gate and fence. Total length is 2.5 metres and configuration will be fence - gate - fence. The fence height should be 2.2 metres high. Happy with either slat or colorbond in a monument grey colour, with a lock. Ideally, would like this job done before the concrete is poured or on the day of the concrete pour.

Fix / repair gate that does not close properly. Gate is rubbing against hanging poles and will not close properly. Needs to be repaired or rehung.

Hinges have seized up and latch has broken on side metal garden gate. I will need hinges and latch to be provided.

We require someone to install gate latch onto a metal fence which came off, need screws and bits into iron gate. We will provide the latch

I’m looking to make a security gate with bars more secure so people can’t reach hands through it. I think a small metal sheet (mesh?) attached to the bars could work. Approx 300mm x 300mm. The red section in the photo. Any other ideas welcome. See photos

Metal gate is collapsing because posts are not long enough or deep enough into the ground. Old posts need to be replaced with longer posts. New posts and gate need to be reinstalled into a new concrete footing

We have 2 metal gates in our property wall. One is very stiff, with some rust in it's bottom hinge, which may need to be replaced. After rain, the walls move slightly, which can jam the gates, so it would be ideal if both could be moved ~3 millimeters. Both need hydraulic arms replaced. The main bodies of the gates are in very good condition.
