2015 Mazda 3. Rear brakes are dragging, one rear wheel gets really hot after even a short drive, with a burning smell, and sometimes smoke coming off the wheel. It's affected the rear right previously and now the rear left. The handbrake has also been much tighter since a recent service, might be due to that but not sure. If it's just a handbrake adjustment, happy for the $150 to cover the diagnosis and fix. If it turns out to be something else, the callout and diagnosis fee would be $80, and we can explore the options from there

Need a mobile mechanic/auto electrician to sort out a left-hand HID headlight issue on my 2013 Toyota Aurion (GSV50R). The Issue: Left HID not firing up at all (no flicker, no attempted ignition) Right HID working perfectly Left parker/position lights working fine (so not a fuse/earth issue on that circuit) No warning lights on dash Likely Suspects: Could be the ballast, igniter, or the D4S bulb itself. Haven't had time to swap components from right side to diagnose properly. Could also be a dodgy connection at the ballast plug - these Aurions are known for moisture ingress issues in the headlight assembly. What I Need: Proper diagnosis with multimeter/scan tool if needed Supply and fit genuine or quality aftermarket parts (not keen on cheap eBay ballasts that'll pack it in after 6 months) Someone who knows their way around HID systems and won't just throw parts at it

Hi, I’m after an experienced mobile mechanic who knows BMWs to stop a small oil leak on my 2013 petrol X3. After I switch the engine off a faint puff of smoke comes from the centre of the bonnet, and I’ve been told it’s almost certainly the oil-filter housing gasket set that has gone hard. The job is to supply and fit the full three-piece gasket kit (large housing-to-block seal, smaller oil-cooler seal and the round filter-cap O-ring), clean away the old oil, wipe the belt area and heat-shield so nothing keeps burning off, then run the engine to confirm the leak is fixed. While you’re there please give the plastic valve-cover gasket a quick visual check for any wet oil, but only quote to replace the oil-filter housing set for now. Car is at my home in Lidcombe 2141 on a flat paved driveway with power and water available. I’m expecting an all-inclusive price using quality Viton or OEM gaskets and would like an invoice for my records. Please let me know your experience, what parts you’ll use, when you can do it and how long you’ll need. Thanks.
