We are looking for a friendly, patient and reliable tutor to help our Grade 5 daughter with her schoolwork. The main focus will be Maths and English, as well as helping with homework, revision and topics she may not have fully understood at school. We would ideally like someone who has completed VCE with strong results, particularly in Maths and English. A university student would be very welcome. Previous tutoring experience or experience working with primary school children would be a bonus. We are looking for someone who is patient and good at explaining things in a simple way. The goal is not just to complete her homework, but to help her understand what she is learning and become more confident and independent. Location: Brighton, VIC Frequency: Ideally 1–2 sessions per week Duration: Approx. 1 hour per session Time: After school / to be arranged Budget: Approx. $30 per hour This would ideally become an ongoing tutoring arrangement if we find the right person.
