This role suits someone who is patient, organised, and genuinely supportive of neurodivergent adults and families. Understanding that our capacity fluctuates from week to week. About our Home A friendly dog and cat live here — must be comfortable with pets Four adults, we are all  neurodivergent, with varying routines and sleep schedules due to, two of us on nightshifts on varying nights One of us is overwhelmed by the vacuum so needs to be done in a flexible way around us, so sometimes it’s a broom instead. Some areas will have clutter that needs gentle, practical management Dishes may need to be done first so cleaning tasks can be completed About the Role 6 hours per week, spread across 2–3 shifts (up to you if it is 2 or 3) General cleaning: bathrooms, kitchen, floors, surfaces Tidying and organising everyday household clutter Light household management tasks (resetting spaces, helping maintain routines) Negotiating vacuuming times around night‑shift workers and sensory levels Working in a home where executive functioning varies day‑to‑day Requirements Must have an ABN Must supply your own vacuum cleaner and cleaning products Comfortable working in untidy, cluttered environments Kind, non‑judgmental communication style Able to work independently and adapt to changing household needs Pet‑friendly and respectful of neurodivergent communication differences Pay $55 per hour. Need a skilled and experienced cleaner to deep clean ceilings and walls in kitchen and bathroom of grime and mould. We’ve done our best to keep it clean until now but need an experienced expert who can deep clean before we install new exhaust fans and vents. It’s an old home with DIY building techniques so be aware there will be challenging surfaces, corners, lots of joint trim on ceiling and awkward angles. PLEASE NOTE: You’ll need to have experience, need to be fit and your own equipment to be eligible for this job (e.g ceiling mop with extension pole, a step ladder, buckets and any other required cleaning supplies). $400 for a full 8 hours work. Happy to split over a couple of days. Days start no earlier than 8am and finish before 6pm. Ceilings are priority and want them done properly and with care. However, if you’re done in less than 8 hours, will ask you to have a crack at walls and cabinets.
