Description: I need an experienced locksmith to repair a faulty door lock and modify the locking function so it works by key only. Current issues: Key stuck and snapped inside the lock barrel Door is currently unlocked No working key available Locking / deadbolt mechanism is not operating correctly becasue key is stuck Scope of works: Inspect and repair the existing lock mechanism as required Replace the lock barrel (mandatory) Supply a new set of keys Remove any broken key fragments from the lock Ensure all components operate smoothly after repair Required locking function (very important): Door must be locked and unlocked by key ONLY This applies from both the outside and the inside Internal knob must NOT control locking From inside, the door must still open normally using the handle but the outside handle does not open the door even if the door is unlocked. so basicly the door can used as exit door only if its unlocked by the keys No thumb-turn or knob-based locking after modification Pricing: Quote must be all-inclusive Price to include all labour and materials (new barrel, keys, fixings, etc.) Additional notes: Door appears to be an aluminium / metal-framed door (see photos) Clean, professional finish required Photos attached show the current condition and lock assembly.

Needs door lock repaired and door function changed. Currently the key stuck in the barrel and snapped. Door is currently unlocked and there is no key available. What I want is for the lock to be changed so that it can only be locked and unlocked with a key from both the outside and the inside. From the inside, the door should still be able to be opened by the handle, but the internal knob should no longer control the locking mechanism. In other words, opening by handle from inside is fine, but locking and unlocking must be done by key only, whether from inside or outside. Your quoted fee should also include a new lock barrel and new keys.

Buy a screen door and fit/install it (Doesn’t matter if it’s a secondhand door must include keys) Prices negotiable
