I have a 2001 Volkswagen Golf Mk4 hatchback with a faulty rear-right door lock actuator. The lock no longer operates with central locking and is causing a small parasitic battery drain (suspected short/internal fault in the actuator). The job required: - Disconnect and remove the old actuator - Install and connect the new unit - Reassemble door and test full operation (central locking and manual function) Ideally looking for someone who has replaced Mk4 Golf/Bora/Jetta door actuators before and has the correct trim tools and Torx bits. Does bodycorp need to know anything? It's important I get the lock changed immediately as I'm doing this as someone stole my keys over the weekend and I'm scared they copied them.
