I’m looking for a professional to remove a damaged smart handle lock from an outdoor gate and install a new weatherproof smart handle lock in its place. The gate is fully exposed to the elements (sun, rain, coastal air), so the replacement must be suitable for outdoor conditions. I’m currently considering the FORGE Biometric Smart Handle Weatherproof Outdoor Lock ($569 inc GST & FESMTLKK710SLVA), but I’d also appreciate guidance on the most suitable product before finalising the purchase. The gate is timber, approx. 40mm thick. Experience with smart lock installation and outdoor gate setups preferred. I have attached photos of the existing smart handle lock to be replaced.
