Hi! We're a family of four in Alderley with two small kids. My husband and I both work full-time, so the day-to-day running of the house tends to slip. We're looking for someone warm, reliable and organised to come in once a week and help us get back on top of things. We already have a cleaner, so this isn't a cleaning job. It's more about keeping the household ticking along, the kind of help that makes a real difference to a busy family. What a typical week might look like: • Folding washing and putting it away (our biggest need!) • Changing sheets and making beds • Tidying the kids' rooms, toys and the living areas • Unloading the dishwasher and resetting the kitchen Occasional extras, as needed: • Simple meal prep for the week, such as chopping, batch cooking or freezer meals • Sorting and tidying wardrobes as the girls grow out of clothes • Decluttering and organising cupboards, play areas or storage, following my guidance on what to keep, donate or toss We'd love someone who notices what needs doing and just gets on with it. Experience with families, or a natural knack for organising, would be a big plus. Looking for a Helping Hand During Operation Recovery 🌿 I’m looking for a kind, reliable and practical person who could help me out at home for a couple of hours each morning on Saturday the 7th and Sunday the 8th, around 8:00 am–10:00 am. I’ll be recovering from an operation and would really appreciate a little extra help with some simple day-to-day things, including: • 🥤 Helping me prepare some fresh smoothies. • 🍲 Picking up or bringing me some extra bone broth. • 🛍️ Running to the health food shop or grocery store for a few essentials. • 🧽 Light tidying up, particularly in the kitchen. • 🧺 Putting on a load of laundry if needed. • 🍽️ Helping prepare a few simple meals and generally making things a little easier while I recover. The garage currently has lots of boxes, suitcases, clothes racks, sports equipment and other household items. I need help sorting everything and creating a proper storage system. WHAT I NEED DONE: • Lift and move boxes and heavier items • Sort and organise everything into categories • Assemble heavy-duty shelving/storage units • mount shelving ( mostly already mounted ) where appropriate • Organise boxes, tubs, suitcases and equipment neatly • Make the best use of the available wall and floor space • Keep the storage area neat and easy to access • Clear and organise the floor • Create a dedicated storage area on one side of the garage • Keep the other side as open as possible because I want to put a pool table/games area there This is NOT just a cleaning job. I am looking for someone who is practical, organised and comfortable with lifting, assembling shelving and helping plan the best use of the space.
