This is mainly an organising and decluttering job rather than a cleaning job. I’m happy for you to use your judgement on the best way to arrange everything. Hi, I'm looking for a reliable female helper for my mum in Rosebery, ongoing. She's 71 and recovering from a stroke. She's independent and very sharp, but she isn't steady on her feet and struggles with anything needing two hands. She mostly needs a hand around the house and someone around. What you'd help with: Cooking (home cooking, for two) Grocery shopping, or unpacking and putting away a delivery Laundry, cleaning and general tidying Walking beside her on the stairs, no lifting Occasionally coming along to an appointment Company and conversation Mandarin is quite essential. Mum's English is fine but her Mandarin is much stronger and she's far more herself in it. Looking for a female helper, as the role involves being in her home and helping her closely. Care or support work experience is a plus but not essential. Happy to do a police check. Flexible on days and times, and we'd like to find someone for the long term rather than a one-off. A live-in option is also available if it suits you. There's a furnished second bedroom with its own bathroom, TV and built-in wardrobe, at $200 a week with all bills and food included. Happy to talk it through either way. The apartment is on the first floor with 16 stairs and no lift.

Seeking help and advice on re-organising home and decluttering belongings in 2-bedroom apartment + storage room. 50/hour for as many hours as it takes. Have received notice from owner’s committee to clear out storage room so will need to sort through items one by one and decide whether to keep or throw out, then figure out a new organisation system that works on an ongoing basis. Will probably need to post a few items on marketplace or donate things to charity bins downstairs. Looking for a housekeeper to come 1-2 times a week to perform: 1) clothes folding (Marie Kondo method) and putting away into wardrobes (would all be sorted into piles with instructions). Clothes would all be washed and dried already, no washing needed. 2) General tidying & putting clutter away to make house look presentable and clear in all areas of home. 3) Wiping down surfaces and dusting. 4) vacuum throughout.
