The front lawn needs to be replaced—the previous one didn't survive, so I need something solid and low-maintenance this time. Two sections: the left is roughly 5.5m x 2.8m, and the right is roughly 3.3m x 2.8m. Photos attached. I'd like a buffer strip running all around the lawn to separate the grass from the house and the driveway — happy for this to be filled with pebbles, bark, or some native low-maintenance plants, whatever works best and looks good. For the lawn itself, I'm open to either real grass or high-quality artificial turf — keen to hear your recommendation on which suits the space better, especially given the previous lawn failed. I understand installing some reticulation would be best for the real grass. If artificial turf ends up being the better option, I'd also like a recommendation for a feature tree—either one centered across both sections or one on the right and two on the left.
