I have an IKEA METOD kitchen where all cabinets are already assembled and positioned. The remaining work is mainly installation, alignment, and finishing. I initially planned to complete it myself but realised I don’t have the required tools for proper panel cutting, levelling, and clamping, so I’m looking for a reliable installer to complete the job efficiently. Scope of work: • Mount and secure cabinets to wall • Ensure full levelling and alignment (important for upcoming stone benchtop) • Cut and install panels, fillers, and end pieces where required • Build and install bulkhead • General finishing to a clean standard The layout has already been simplified (some cabinets removed from original plan), so the scope is more straightforward than a full install. Laundry (small additional job): • 130 cm space • 1 × 60 cm METOD sink cabinet (assembled) • Install laminate benchtop and sink • To be completed after tiling (can be scheduled separately if needed) Notes: • Property under renovation, easy access • I will be onsite and can assist if needed to keep things moving • Kitchen is ready to go now • Looking for someone who has done IKEA kitchens before and knows the system well I’m after someone practical, efficient, and reasonably priced for this type of work. Hey there, there are essentially 4 cupboards to install (all bottom ones). Plus two filler panels. Can email you the drawings if that makes it easier to quote. There is asbestos lining the walls which needs removing. I need to organise a plumber to shut off tap then come back and reinstall the new one. So I will need to coordinate the task week with that person too. One of the bench tops has to be cut to size in one corner so if you have the capacity to do that bit too let me know!
