Housekeeper Wanted – Wavell Heights We're a busy family with three young children looking for a reliable, friendly and organised housekeeper to help keep our home tidy and running smoothly. Ideally, we're looking for someone to come for 2 hours each morning, 5 days a week (Monday–Friday), although there may be some flexibility with days and times. Duties include: - General tidying and organising around the house - Washing, folding and putting away laundry - Tidying children's bedrooms and play areas - Cleaning up the kitchen after breakfast, including dishes and putting things away - Changing bed linen as needed - Keeping household items organised and maintaining a tidy home - Other light household tasks as required We already have a cleaner who comes fortnightly for deeper cleaning, so this role is primarily focused on day-to-day housekeeping, laundry, tidying and keeping the home organised. We're looking for someone who is reliable, proactive, has good attention to detail and is comfortable working independently in a family home. Location: Wavell Heights, Brisbane Hours: Approximately 10 hours per week Schedule: Ideally Monday–Friday mornings Pay: Negotiable depending on experience We're hoping to find someone for an ongoing, long-term arrangement. Need someone local to come for 1.25hrs per day Monday to Friday 5 days per week as a housekeeper to maintain house. Please note this is not a cleaning role as such (I already have a cleaner for deep clean fortnightly) but more a role to keep the house in order on a daily basis and prevent clutter from accumulating. Tasks will vary daily. I need a very efficient worker to take the initiative as in to see what needs to be done and do it. Tasks may include (some every day some occasionally or as needed) -washing -drying - folding and putting away -tidying kitchen and dishes -clean out fridge -decluttering -general tidying of kids toys/craft -decluttering pantry -decluttering kids room -tidying surfaces -spot cleaning if needed (ie fridge/floor etc) -Make beds -wash sheets —general tidying to create/maintain order Each day may be different with the overall aim for the 5 days to keep a tidy and orderly/clutter-free house.
