We’re a busy family in North Fremantle with two children aged 7 and 9, a newborn on the way, and a family dog. We’re looking for a reliable, proactive and experienced housekeeper to help us keep our home organised and running smoothly as our family gets a little busier. Location: North Fremantle Hours: Approx. 6–8 hours per week Ideally: 2 visits per week, with some flexibility around days/times Ongoing: We’re looking for someone long-term, not a one-off clean. This is a broader housekeeping role rather than simply a cleaning job. We’d love to find someone who gets to know our family and home and can take initiative with what needs to be done each week. Typical tasks would include: * General household cleaning * Laundry, folding and putting clothes away * Changing beds and linen * Tidying and general household organisation * Keeping the kitchen, pantry and fridge organised * Tidying children’s rooms and areas * Occasional household errands * Light meal preparation if this is something you enjoy * Generally noticing and taking care of household jobs as they arise This isn’t a nanny position and we’re not looking for regular childcare. The focus is helping us stay on top of the household, particularly with a new baby arriving. We’re looking for someone who is: * Reliable and trustworthy * Naturally organised and tidy * Proactive and able to work independently * Experienced in private-home housekeeping * Comfortable working in a family home with children and a baby * Comfortable around dogs * Looking for a consistent, long-term position References are important, and a current police clearance would be highly regarded. We’re happy to pay a good hourly rate for the right person and would initially organise a paid trial to make sure it’s a good fit for everyone.
