There are two flights of stairs through a very tight fire escape. Then two flights of outdoor stairs straight to the street. This is how we got the couch into the building originally, but the space in the fire escape is very tight and we had to shimmy around a lot. The outdoor stairs are very open and easy. 2nd location: A lot more straight-forward. Couch has to be transported up a few steps to the front of the building and one straight flight up (maybe 25 steps) to the first floor and done. This job will require two people on the day. $200 in total for the task. So I’m looking to get a very heavy (220kgs) piece of gym equipment from Weatherill Park to Ryde. It needs to be moved standing up as it can’t be laid on its side or back. It is easy access both at pick up and delivery. Pick up is a factory at Wetherill Park and they have a forklift their end to load. Drop off is a private garage at Ryde and you can drive right up to the garage to unload. The problem is getting it off and into the garage my end as you would need at least three people to lift this off ute and manoeuvre into garage. I’m prepared to pay a decent and fair (not ridiculous) amount to get this done
