I’m looking for two experienced removalists with a 4.5-tonne or larger hydraulic tail-lift truck for a single-trip move from a Box Hill apartment to a Forest Hill townhouse, about a 15-minute drive. I’m flexible across Saturday 5, Sunday 6, Monday 7 or Tuesday 8 September. Please mention your available day and arrival time. The move includes: - Upright piano; it can stay on the ground floor at Forest Hill - Front-loading washing machine, dryer and fridge - TV and TV unit, about 1.5 metres long - Queen mattress - About five large suitcases and 10 sealed moving boxes - Bed frame, two bedside tables and shoe-storage unit only if they haven’t sold before the move Two couches need to be taken by lift from level 23 to the Box Hill bin room before departure. They’re usable and the movers may take them free instead. The same applies to the bed frame and bedside tables if they remain unsold. Pickup has lift access. The fridge, TV unit, queen mattress and several boxes are in the B2 storage cage. The truck can’t enter B2, so these items must be trolleyed a short distance to the lift, brought to ground level and loaded from the accessible parking/loading area. The remaining items are in the apartment on level 23. There are about five entrance steps at Forest Hill. The piano does not need to go upstairs, although some boxes may need to go up one flight. Everything will be packed. The washer and dryer will be disconnected and the fridge empty. Please bring piano and furniture trolleys, straps and protective blankets. General moving insurance is required; separate specialist piano insurance isn’t necessary. The $280 budget covers the first two hours even if the job finishes sooner. After two hours, the task price will increase by $30 for each additional 15 minutes actually worked. Time starts on arrival at the Box Hill pickup and ends when the last required item is placed at Forest Hill. The rate must include two movers, truck, fuel, GST, Airtasker fees, disclosed steps, piano handling, B2/lift access and equipment. Please only offer after reading the full description. In your offer, confirm the crew, truck size, upright-piano experience, availability, one-trip capacity, insurance and that there will be no separate call-out, travel, stair, piano or heavy-item charges.
