Description: I need an old Kelvinator through-wall box air conditioner removed from a brick wall and taken away for disposal. It was working until recently and has been replaced by a reverse cycle system. What’s involved: Remove the unit from the wall (it’s a single box unit, with the front facing inside and the rear and side vents outside) Remove the internal timber-look surround and the external trim or flange, if they come off with the unit Take everything away and dispose of it responsibly. The unit contains refrigerant, so please take it to a facility that accepts old air conditioners rather than dumping it. Things to know: The power point has been decommissioned and is not live. The plug is hanging loose at the front. The unit is old and heavy, so you’ll probably need a second person or a trolley. Please don’t cut into or damage the refrigerant lines or sealed system. I’ll be filling the wall opening myself with plywood boards, so you don’t need to make good the hole. There’s good access on both sides: the inside is a normal room wall, and the outside is at ground level under the eaves. Photos attached show both the inside and outside of the unit. Ideal Tasker: Someone with a ute or van, a trolley, and experience removing appliances or air conditioners. Please confirm in your offer that you’ll dispose of it legitimately. Looking for a qualified/licensed air-conditioning installer to carry out the first fix before the wall and ceiling linings are installed. Air-conditioning equipment already supplied: - 1 × Hyundai 7.9kW Smart Multi Head Split System outdoor unit - 2 × Hyundai 3.5kW Smart Multi Head Split System indoor units - 1 × 20m Polyaire Pair Coil – 6.35 × 0.8mm & 9.52 × 0.8mm The building is currently completely unlined, with easy access to the wall and ceiling framing. I need the required refrigeration pipework, condensate drainage and associated first-fix work installed before the building is lined. Photos are attached showing the building, proposed locations of the two indoor head units and outdoor unit, together with the 20m pair coil already supplied. Please quote for the first-fix installation and advise if any additional pipework, fittings or materials will be required. The second fix, final installation and commissioning can also be discussed.

"Looking for a licensed HVAC technician/electrician to diagnose and repair an E1 error code on a Carrier ducted reverse-cycle air conditioner.The system initially showed the E1 code. A hard reset at the main switchboard temporarily cleared the code, but it immediately returned when attempting a mode change. Now, the E1 communication error remains permanently on the wall controller display even when the system is sitting idle in standby mode.Suspecting a communication fault between the indoor and outdoor units, a loose/damaged signal wire, or a failed PCB.Please provide your standard diagnostic call-out fee and your availability to inspect the system."
