Description: Looking for an experienced gardener, horticulturist, or soft-landscaper to supply, prep, and plant a 5m x 3.5m modern front garden bed in Woodville (5011). All major hardscaping elements (retaining walls, concrete driveway borders, paving stepping stones, letterbox) and a sub-surface automated drip irrigation pipeline system are already fully installed. The beds are currently clear dirt with established palm trees. Scope of Work Required: 1. Soil & Clay Conditioning: Application of liquid clay breaker (provided) and turning organic gypsum clay breaker granules thoroughly into the heavy baseline clay soil to prevent compaction. 2. Plant Layout & Sourcing: Sourcing and planting approximately 45-50 permanent perennial pots/tubes based on a provided landscape sketch layout. 3. Plant Matrix Includes: Orange Clivias (under porch shade), White Correas, Salvia 'Amistad' (driveway edge), Sea Lavender (letterbox sun zone), Trailing Bellflower (creeping between path pavers), and low Winter Roses. 4. Clean up & Succulent Rescue: Tidy up/prune two existing corner Kalanchoe succulents (one was lightly trampled and needs clean bypass cuts to reset). 5. Mulching: Supply and install a tidy 50mm–75mm finish layer of coarse pine bark chips (10mm-15mm size) across the beds, leaving breathing gaps around plant stems. 6. Irrigation Pinning: Use plastic landscape pegs to cleanly secure the existing automated drip pipe paths cleanly around the new root zones before mulching. Materials Provided by Owner: Drip line plumbing pipes, automated timer framework, water connection access. Materials to be supplied by Contractor: Plants (happy to review trade cost options), Gypsum, Osmocote fertilizer, and Coarse Pine Bark Mulch bags. Budget listed covers labor, soil conditioners, and mulch delivery. I am happy to pay the contractor additionally for the direct wholesale cost of the required number of pots.
