We've renovated a back garden, including a raised garden bed built with thick H4-treated wood sleepers. We've also built a frame in the corner to support a garden bench (see photo). We need a skilled carpenter to install the Spotted Gum sleeper slats for the seat. Materials (already purchased): Spotted Gum sleepers, 45mm thick x 145mm wide 5 x 1.8m sleepers 4 x 1.5m sleepers Key requirements: No visible fixings: planks must NOT be drilled or screwed/nailed through the top face — we want a completely clean, screw/nail-free look from above. Fixing must be done from underneath or via a hidden-fastener method (e.g. pocket screws from below, hidden brackets, or similar). No deep or visible brackets on the overhanging front slats — the front edge needs to look clean. Seat slats must be level and evenly spaced, with an approx. 3mm gap between each sleeper. Looking for someone experienced with quality timber furniture/decking finishes who can deliver a clean, professional result. experienced bricklayer/landscaper to construct a curved built-in brick garden bench in our backyard in Bondi, similar to the reference photos attached. The bench is to follow the curved garden bed/boundary area shown in our existing backyard photo (Length curved is 400cm. Depth of seat is 60cm. Height of seat 40cm). We are looking for a high-quality, professionally finished result using light, rustic/reclaimed-style bricks, with a soft Mediterranean/Australian coastal appearance. Scope of work includes: Construct curved masonry/brick bench in the garden area shown. Approximately 450–500mm finished seat height and 500–600mm seat depth. Smooth, consistent curved profile. Brickwork to the front face and top/seat area, similar to the reference images. Appropriate footing/base and preparation to ensure the structure is stable and does not move or crack. Work carefully around existing olive trees, garden beds, irrigation and garden lighting. Supply all bricks, labour, tools and equipment. Clean up and remove building waste on completion. Fixed budget: $3,000. Please state in your offer whether your price includes supply of bricks, mortar and other construction materials, or whether you propose that we purchase the bricks separately. We are particularly interested in someone with experience in curved brickwork, garden walls, masonry seating or landscape construction. Please include photos of similar brickwork you have completed.

Please clean and paint garden shed, 2 side gates, letterbox, bird bath, bench We are having new lawn put in, so you would need to avoid stepping on it. You also need to keep the concrete below clean (ie no drops)

This deck is sun weathered and needs to be cleaned with oxalic acid, or the like, sanded back a bit and stained with oil, we will supply oil.

I’m just getting the feelers out there as I’m looking at someone to build a floating L shape garden bench seat. When I say floating, I’m happy to go with something that actually isn’t mounted from the backside just visually looks floating from the front ( photo examples may help explain what I mean).
