I’m looking for someone experienced in repairing floating timber flooring. A section of the floating timber floor, about 1 square metre, has buckled in the middle outside the laundry room. The floor buckles during winter but returns to normal in summer, so the issue appears to be seasonal. As far as I can tell, there is no obvious water damage. I’m looking for someone to inspect the cause and carry out the repair. If the problem is related to insufficient expansion gap or another installation issue, I’d like it repaired properly. I have some damage on my bedroom floor that needs repaired before my bond is returned. We removed various floorings within the home to polish boards, which we are happy with. Within the study 2.2 x 3.8m tiles were removed and uncovered half a room of boards with some water damage and the other half is chipboard. The board section has since been polished to look more like image 3&4, with some water damage but no holes etc, it's a solid floor.
