Looking for someone who lives as close as possible to Daw Park (or travels nearby a few times a week) to establish a flexible routine with household chores help and cleaning. I expect about an hour (or two maximum) each visit and can experiment with whether that is once or upto 3 times a week as suits both parties. Chores most likely to involve dishwasher and washing machine loads, spot and surface cleaning, bins emptied, folding of washing, bed linen changes, and tidying up generally. Timing can be pretty flexible and every second week will have less of a requirement as child custody is week on/off. We mostly work from home and kids are school age so the small 3 bedroom house is well utilized and can go from clean and tidy to chaos in moments. It’s mostly chaos hence this request for casual housekeeping. If meal preparation is in your wheelhouse then we could occasionally incorporate that. This is suited to someone who lives very nearby, has years of experience running a household and currently has a quite flexible routine. We are interested in forming a long term working relationship with the right fit for our somewhat alternative household and are not interested in short term arrangements. Bonus points if you have a working with children clearance or any interest/experience in short activities aimed at kids aged 6 to 10. Subject to responses we may meet with several people and repost this ad to facilitate that before we lock someone in ongoing. This initial task fee covers a single initial hour including airtasker fees and if you can let me know your preferred hourly rate moving forward that’d be great.
