Organisation Expert Needed – Garage/Under House Declutter (Additional work may be available) We’re seeking an experienced organisation expert to help us tackle the clutter in our garage/under-house storage area. Over the last few years we’ve done a rushed downsizing and sold our previous home, which has resulted in boxes and boxes of mixed items being stored under our highset house. It’s now at the point where we need a practical, hands-on professional to help us sort, categorise, and create order before proper decluttering can begin. What the job will involve: Going through numerous packed boxes Collating like items into logical sections Creating organised zones/categories that make sense Working alongside me as decisions are made about: Repacking in a more functional order Relocating items to different areas Creating discard/donate piles This will be a collaborative process — I’ll provide guidance as we go, but I need someone confident in leading the physical organisation side of things. Environment: Garage space under a highset home Expect dust, dirt, and the occasional spider Pedestal fans available for cooling Doors at either end can be opened for airflow Some heavy lifting required Ongoing Opportunity: Once the under-house area is complete, there will be similar organising projects inside the home, so this could lead to additional work. A bit about us: My ADHD brain (and life with 4 young children including a baby!) has made it incredibly hard to get on top of this. We really need someone calm, practical, and non-judgemental to help bring order to the chaos. Cleaning requirements Whole apartment-Dust all surfaces: shelves, tables, window sills, skirting boards. Vacuum and mop all floors including under bed, couch and other furniture if accessible. Empty rubbish bins and dispose of rubbish. Bedroom area-Make bed and change linen when linen is provided. Wipe down bedside table. Put any clothes into washing basket if required. Living area-Wipe down dining chairs coffee table and entertainment cabinets. Kitchen area-Clean countertop cupboard fronts and splash back tiles. Wash any dishes. Wipe out microwave and clean front of the fridge. Bathroom area- clean toilet, bathroom sink and mirrors, clean shower and shower glass polish all taps and bathroom fixtures. Disinfect all surfaces and mop floor with disinfectant. I am looking for a time efficient cleaner that can complete all tasks in 1-2 hours Cleaning equipment eg vacuum and mop will be provided, other cleaning equipment can be provided upon request eg cloths and chemicals but to have you own chemicals and cloths will be much appreciated. Currently taking quotes for once a fortnight cleans.
