Looking for a handyman or tradesperson to assist with a small job. I am installing decorative external cladding panels on the front of my house. Most of the panels have already been installed, however the final section is blocked by a downpipe. The downpipe does not need to be relocated. It simply needs to be lifted or adjusted enough for us to slide the final cladding panel underneath and complete the installation. We have already managed to lift part of the downpipe, however the final section appears fixed and we don’t want to force it and cause any damage. Photos attached showing the cladding and downpipe. Should be a relatively quick job for someone familiar with downpipes and external cladding.

I need someone to install timber cladding on an interior feature wall. Depending on if the company can deliver the cladding or not I also may need u to pick it up from the company as it won’t fit in my car. (Which will be local to PalmView) I also need someone to install an exterior half wall behind my barbecue on the outside deck. To be done with concrete sheeting. And if possible where the bbq and fridge is make into a built in with a bench top. I will supply all the materials for each job.

We have an ongoing water leak issue in one of our children’s bedrooms that began during Cyclone Alfred. We live in a G+3 townhouse, and the affected bedroom is located on the second level. Since the initial incident, the body corporate and insurer have engaged multiple building companies and contractors to inspect the property. However, despite numerous assessments, no repairs have been carried out to date. The issue persists whenever it rains, with water seeping through the ceiling and dripping into the bedroom. Most recently, the leak reoccurred during last week’s rainfall. Based on observations, we suspect the water ingress may be originating from the external cladding and/or seepage from the third-floor balcony above. We are seeking a contractor who can investigate and rectify the source of the leak, including applying appropriate sealants or waterproofing measures to prevent further water ingress. We also require repairs to the damaged bedroom ceiling once the leak has been resolved. Please note that access for inspection may require a ladder, aerial lift, or scissor lift due to the building height and location of the suspected leak source.

My husband is doing it himself so I'm trying to get extra hands to go faster. Putting cladding stones like photos on the outside wall.

Cement sheets to be installed over existing lower level wall. Will need cutting/measuring and adhering. I’ll be able to help where I can also. Works needed for pre water tanks instillation. Materials and some tools available and happy to prep and grab anything needed for the job.
